The John E. Roueche Center for Community College Leadership, located in Austin, Texas, has doctoral program cohorts and alumni represented throughout the United States.

In 2019, Kansas State University – the first Land-Grant institution created under the Morrill Act and Tier One research institution – established this innovative center and doctoral program to prepare community college leaders to fulfill the mission and vision of community colleges: to improve student success, equity, learning, and completion, while serving surrounding communities.
