Caleb Hogue is the Interim Division Director of Information Technology Services at Temple College in Temple, Texas. He has been with Temple College for 2 years as a Network and Infrastructure Specialist and is starting his 7th year in education. Some of his responsibilities include managing the Support and Network Infrastructure teams, maintaining and upgrading classroom technologies, and developing new and innovative ways to use technology in education. He is also an instructor for Business Continuing Education teaching the Computer Technician course.
Before working at Temple College, Caleb worked at Connally ISD and Midway ISD in their technology departments as a Helpdesk Technician and Computer Support Specialist, respectively. In both roles, Caleb was essential in kickstarting new technology projects and streamlining current procedures.
Caleb is a good example of a non-traditional student. He has earned both a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, both while working full-time. As a Night Owl, Caleb has earned many certifications including EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker, CompTIA A+, Net+, and Security+, and both ITIL Foundations and Project+ in project management. He is working towards his lifelong goal of earning a Doctorate Degree through his participation in the Kansas State University Ed.D cohort through the John E. Roueche Center for Community College Leadership.
Caleb currently lives in Waco, Texas, with his wife, Amber, and their 3 dogs. They are both active in their local church, providing audio and visual support and live streaming services.
