Evelyn Waiwaiole is the Vice President of Resource Development and External Relations at Temple College. She joined Temple College in April 2020 after a long stint at The University of Texas, where she last served as the Executive Director of the Center for Community College Student Engagement. Prior to that, she led numerous grant initiatives and also served as the Director of NISOD (National Institute of Staff and Organizational Development), an organization comprised of over 600 community and technical colleges that recognizes teaching and leadership excellence in higher education. She has published numerous articles and contributed to several books, served as a keynote speaker and presented at every national community college conference, and been quoted in numerous higher education publications.

Evelyn earned a doctorate from The University of Texas at Austin in Higher Education Administration, a Masters in Economics from The University of Oklahoma and Bachelors in Psychology and a minor in Math from Texas A&M University.
